Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street‘s Leanne Battersby receives some malicious advice from newcomer Rowan Cunliffe next week.
Leanne continues to rely on Rowan for advice, as she’s drawn in by his teachings as part of The Institute.
The ITV soap is exploring the issue of cults in Leanne’s new story, which has seen her start to hand over money to Rowan in return for his self-help guidance.
Leanne’s partner Nick Tilsley and sister Toyah have both warned her against spending money on Rowan’s advice, which has included a so-called “reality coding” technique.

Rowan suggests drastic action, claiming that it’s time for Leanne to immediately distance herself from her sister.
Later in the week, Rowan returns from his trip, and Leanne is delighted to see him.
