Alina returned to the cobbles recently to aid in the arrest of some local criminals, which led to Tyrone discovering he had an unknown son. Despite Faiz’s attempts to keep the peace, Alina was concerned that her past connection with Tyrone might reignite old flames. Tyrone assured Fizz that while he enjoyed getting to know his son, his primary focus was on his family.

The tension escalated when Alina arrived at Number Nine, worried that the gang she was set to testify against might be watching her. The situation worsened when one of the gang members tried to break into Alina’s hotel room as she prepared for court. Though Ronnie Bailey managed to escape with a crucial piece of evidence, Alina was deeply distressed. Tyrone informed Fizz that Alina had been attacked and was in serious danger.

In a desperate plea, Alina asked Fizz and Tyrone to look after Duren temporarily while she went into hiding. She explained that this was the only way to keep him safe until the trial concluded. Alina was confident that no one had followed her to their home, but the risk to Duren’s safety was too great. Reluctantly, Fizz and Tyrone agreed to take in Duren for the time being, while Alina vanished to ensure her own protection.

As the episode wrapped up, Evelyn Plummer questioned whether Tyrone had made the right choice by putting his own family at risk to safeguard Duren. The emotional turmoil and the uncertainty of Alina’s situation left viewers on edge.
