Corrie fans issue same three-word comment after Tyrone Dobbs’ baby news

Coronation Street fans were left issuing the same three-word comment after watching

Tyrone Dobbs be hit with some baby news. The mechanic has been blissfully getting on

with his life after finally tying the knot with Fiz following their 20-year on-and-off romance.

However, viewers of the ITV soap will remember Tyrone’s recent ex Alina Pop and how the pair had an affair before entering into a relationship that saw them tragically lose a baby.

Alina, played by Ruxandra Porojnicu, was first introduced to the cobbles in 2019, as a survivor of human trafficking. After being saved by the late Seb Franklin, she became romantically involved with the much older Tyrone, portrayed by Alan Halsall, in 2021, prompting him to leave Fiz after nine years for her.

While Fiz was understandably horrified by Tyrone’s decision to call time on their long romance, she was blissfully unaware that Alina was pregnant, supposedly with the mechanic’s baby. Alina left Weatherfield with a hand lovingly placed on her stomach and ordered tomato juice, heavily hinting that she was keeping the unborn child.

After seeing Alina, Fiz headed home to tell Tyrone what she had discovered and how she thinks he has a son. She told him she was staying at the Chariot Square Hotel and that she was leaving the following day before encouraging him to go and find her. But his efforts were unsuccessful when Debbie Webster informed him she’d already checked out.

Over on Corrie’s social media channels, a photo of Tyrone and Fiz appeared with a quote from Fiz as she said: “You have to go and see her.” The caption alongside the post then read: “Is Tyrone Alina’s baby daddy? Find out this Friday at 8pm on ITV and ITVX. #Corrie @ITV @ itvxofficial @WeAreStv.”

And the same comment quickly came flooding in. @rachaelsleepconsultant said: “Of course he is.” @nanof2bratz commented: “Of course it’s his we all knew that when she left.” @fingerprickinggood echoed: “Of course he is.” @dee381456 added: “Well of course he is.”
