Coronation Street fans think they have rumbled a shock death twist ahead of Tyrone

and Fiz Dobbs were hit by a baby bombshell. While they were flabbergasted to find

out their daughter Hope had visited Dr Gaddas to be put on the pill, it wasn’t a teen

pregnancy they had to worry about.

It was recently confirmed that Alina Pop would be back in Weatherfield as she was called as a witness in a human trafficking trial. During Wednesday night’s (August 7) episode of the ITV soap, Fiz was stunned to actually bump into her husband’s ex in Freshco car park.

Alina told Fiz that she wasn’t back in Weatherfield permanently and would be leaving the following day. But Fiz’s face paled when she spotted a photo of Alina and a toddler on her phone and while she quickly claimed it was her nephew, Fiz’s suspicions were evident.

Corrie viewers will remember that Alina was first introduced to the cobbles in 2019, as a survivor of human trafficking. After being saved by the late Seb Franklin, she became romantically involved with the much older Tyrone in 2021, prompting him to leave Fiz after nine years for her.

While Fiz was understandably horrified by Tyrone’s decision to call time on their long romance, she was blissfully unaware that Alina was pregnant, supposedly with the mechanic’s baby. Alina left Weatherfield with a hand lovingly placed on her stomach and ordered a tomato juice, heavily hinting that she was keeping the unborn child.

After seein Alina, Fiz headed home to tell Tyrone what she had discovered and how she thinks he has a son. She told him she was staying at the Chariot Square Hotel and that she was leaving the following day before encouraging him to go and find her. But his efforts were unsuccessful when Debbie Webster informed him she’d already checked out.

But Corrie fans think that Tyrone will be united with his son eventually – put in tragic circumstances. @StuartBeckMP said: “Now that Alina is back with a kid, she’s got a 90% chance of being dead by the end of the year. #corrie.” @CarryOnDaniel asked: “So in what way will they kill off Alina so Fiz and Tyrone have to bring up the baby? #sameoldstory #Corrie.”
