Alan Halsall has been branded special by fans after the Coronation Street star shared
a sweet post about being a ‘girl dad’. The actor took to social media with a string of adorable
snaps having enjoyed a night out with his real and soap families.
The actor was accompanied by his mum and his daughter during a trip to the theatre on Wednesday night (July 31). He was among those showing support to Kym Marsh as she led the cast of 101 Dalmatians: The Musical as Disney’s iconic villain Cruella De Vil.
The show, a new musical version of Dodie Smith’s classic book 101 Dalmatians, arrived in Manchester this week with both Corrie and Waterloo Road stars heading to watch Kym in action at the Palace Theatre.

Alan, who is famed for playing Tyrone Dobbs in ITV’s Corrie, was among them as he took his daughter Sienna, who he shares with former Corrie and Hollyoaks star Lucy-Jo Hudson, with him to see the show as well as his mum.
But as well as his real family, the soap star was also united with his on-screen daughters, Isabella Flanagan and Billie Naylor, who play Hope Stape and Ruby Dobbs.
In an adorable moment, the trio posed for a photo alongside Sienna. He first shared the snap of the group on Instagram, with Sienna getting the show memo by rocking a white and black polka dot dress, and added an emoji of himself looking lovingly with a red heart in his hands.
However, he’s now shared the photos to his main Instagram grid and said in view of his 236,000 followers: ” What a fantastic show @101dalmatiansuk. We loved it. But the company… #GirlDad,” alongside images of him with just Sienna, just his co-stars and alongside his mum too.
Corrie co-star Sally Carman-Duttine said in response to the post: “Gorgeous,” while Samia Longchambon commented: “Love this Al.” Kyran Bowed replied: “Great photo @alanhalsall good to see you last night.”
And his fans and followers were also quick to respond. @lisalackin77 said: “Such a beautiful picture.” @smchriswell commented: “What great pictures of you with all your girls!” @mary_cecol_ wrote: “I love this. What a special real life and Corrie dad he is.” @michellewardingley added: “Lovely with all your daughters.”
