Corrie’s Kit set to kill as fans expose ‘victim’ – and it’s bad news for one resident

Coronation Street fans are predicting that Kit Green, played by Jacob Roberts,

might end up murdering a beloved resident of the Cobbles.

The crooked copper arrived in Weatherfield as Bernie Winter’s (Jane Hazlegrove) long-lost son earlier this year. Bernie had given up Christopher ‘Kit’ Green for adoption nearly three decades ago.

After tracking him down a few months back, Kit wanted nothing to do with her. Meanwhile, Bernie’s twins Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Paul (Peter Ash) were shocked to discover they had another sibling.

Moreover, Kit was instrumental in getting Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper), a vile character, imprisoned for the murder of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton). Fans will remember that the troubled young girl went missing earlier this year but is actually alive.

In a surprising turn of events, Kit planted Lauren’s DNA in paedophile Nathan’s van and framed him. However, viewers found out the real story behind Lauren’s disappearance: she was attacked by solicitor Joel Deering (Calum Lill), reports the Express.

Since then, Kit has become a regular face on the cobbles and seemed to forgive Bernie for the sake of Gemma and Paul – who is terminally ill after being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease last year.

Fans reckon he’s set for a killer twist

However, this week Kit revealed his true nature when he announced that he was purchasing Gemma and Chesney’s property to rent it back to them.

Kit’s sinister side was on full display as he ominously whispered his true feelings about Bernie, hinting at a much darker streak.

Corrie enthusiasts are now buzzing with the idea that Kit might be the next big villain to stalk the streets. They’re even speculating that he could be plotting to bump off Paul in a twisted act of vengeance.

One eagle-eyed viewer tweeted: “I still don’t trust Kit. I wouldn’t be surprised if he kills Paul in some surprise dark twist as part of some sick revenge.”

Another fan expressed their unease, posting: “There’s a spoiler picture somewhere of him looming over Paul in an intimidating and threatening manner. I’m hoping he doesn’t do anything.”

And a third chimed in with a chilling prediction: “I honestly think Kit will kill Paul in his last episode in a last-minute shock twist in an attempt to punish Bernie and take everything away from her, starting with Paul. Kit made no secret he hates Bernie, he’s also helped Gemma.”
