Daisy Midgley is about to explode with jealousy on Coronation Street after Ryan Connor snubs their planned night out to be with someone else. Since their reconciliation earlier this year, Daisy and Ryan have been attempting to rebuild their relationship. However, trouble looms for the couple as Ryan’s actions threaten their stability.
After their traumatic experience with an acid attack, Ryan and Daisy grew close, which led to an affair that devastated Daisy’s former fiancé, Daniel Osborne. Ryan initially tried to resolve the fallout in Glasgow but soon returned to Weatherfield, reigniting his romance with Daisy.
Recently, Daisy’s living arrangements changed when her housemate, Glenda, moved out, and the vacant room was taken by police officer Kit Green. While Kit is supposed to uphold the law, he’s known for bending the rules to suit his own interests. His new residence at The Rovers allows him to be at the heart of local gossip and stay connected to the community. Kit also has family ties in the street, being the son of Bernie Winter and brother to Gemma and Paul, though he has little interest in maintaining those family relationships.
Since moving in, Kit has been flirting with Daisy, but it’s Ryan who ends up being swayed. Ryan becomes captivated by Kit’s impressive vinyl collection, much to Daisy’s dismay. When Daisy plans a special evening with Ryan, she is outraged to find him spending time with Kit instead.
It appears Kit’s presence might be driving a wedge between Daisy and Ryan, causing tension and conflict in their relationship.
