In a recent update from Little People Big World, Matt Roloff has made a significant decision regarding the future of the Roloff Farms. Following his divorce from Amy Roloff, Matt took full ownership of the farm, purchasing a portion from Amy. Since then, he has been living on the property, although not in the large farmhouse, which he has put up for rent. Instead, Matt has been building a new house for himself and his fiancée, Karen Chandler.
The farm has been a frequent topic of discussion among the Roloff family. Both Jeremy and Zach Roloff attempted to purchase the property from their father, but their bids were rejected. As a result, they each bought separate real estate and have been focusing on their own farming ventures and parenting. This rejection, however, caused considerable tension within the family.
In a surprising turn of events, it appears that Amy might regain ownership of the farm. Matt and Karen recently met with Amy and her husband, Chris Marek, to discuss the future of the property. Karen advised Matt to inform Amy of his plans for the farm after his passing. Matt revealed that he intends to leave whatever portion of the farm he still owns to Amy. He explained that this decision was made to maintain the farm and ensure fairness within the family, as any other approach would be too complicated.
Amy was taken aback by this revelation, expressing her surprise and uncertainty about reclaiming the land she had sold to Matt. Karen clarified that she was the one who suggested Matt leave the farm to Amy, although she specified that this did not include the Arizona home they jointly own. Karen, who joined the family later, respects the history and significance of the farm and stated she has no interest in owning it, regardless of her marital status with Matt.
