Emmerdale has aired the aftermath of Rose Jackson’s disappearance.
Rose went missing earlier in the week after she was forced to confess to Will Taylor that
she’d been working with Ruby Fox-Miligan to break up his marriage to Kim Tate.
Will and Kim forced Rose to leave Home Farm, then there was a sinister cliffhanger where Rose disappeared by the side of the road.
In Friday’s (August 2) episode, PC Swirling turned up at Home Farm with some disturbing questions after his team found Rose’s abandoned bag.
Kim and Will immediately detected they were in potential trouble, so chose not to reveal they’d forced Rose to leave.

Will came up with a lie that Rose was on a bender and must have lost her bag somehow. Once they were alone, Kim questioned her husband on why he’d lied to the police.
“[I did it] to protect you from whatever you did,” he snapped.
Kim replied: “Me? I’m not the one who went AWOL and returned with near-broken knuckles.”
Dawn arrived before they could get into their suspicions any further. Will told another lie that the police had dropped off Rose’s bag because she’d been in a brawl at a nearby pub.
Dawn suspected that Kim must have run Rose out of town. Will came to Kim’s defence with yet another lie, claiming he’d found Rose trying to break into the safe and she fled.

“You’re saying she planned it? She tried to rob you and she planned to go,” Dawn asked.
Will revealed that he’d caught Rose red-handed spiking Dawn’s drink last week. Dawn was apologetic to Kim for blaming her, with the two soon making peace.
However, Kim and Will were at each other’s throats as they blamed one another for Rose’s disappearance.
At Home Farm, Kim and Will swore to each other that neither had kidnapped Rose. Will was determined for Dawn never to find out about her mother’s revenge plot.
“Any more details, it’ll just open a whole can of worms,” Will predicted.
When Kim admitted she was sick of all the lies, Will once again swore he hadn’t cheated with Rose. Kim agreed to trust Will but insisted they needed to get their story straight.
“Will, don’t make me regret [this]. I don’t do well with disappointment,” Kim warned.
