Olivia Bromley is best known for her portrayal of Dawn Taylor on ITV’s long running soap Emmerdale.

The actress joined the soap in April 2018 as part of a storyline but it was announced shortly after in the December that Olivia had been promoted to a regular cast member after she was an instant hit with fans.

Olivia Bromley was introduced as a former drug addict and prostitute in a relatively short arc alongside Ross Barton as they hunted down his acid attacker Simon McManus.

Since her initial appearances, the soap star has found herself at the heart of much of the drama in the village – her character shot corrupt cop DI Malone (Mark Womack) after he tried to attack Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton).

And more recently she found herself caught up in a love triangle with Jamie Tate and Gabby Thomas.

Due to Dawn Taylor’s poor life choices, the actress often looks a little worse for wear on screen, however, when the cameras stop rolling glamorous Olivia is practically unrecognisable.

Olivia Bromley is an actress who trained at Oxford School of Drama.

Originally from London, Olivia moved from her home in the capital to her parents home in Manchester during lock down, along with her younger sister Claudia, 25, and their family dog.

Now that Emmerdale is back filming following the coronavirus pandemic, Olivia resides in Yorkshire to save time on her commute.

Multi-talented Olivia is also a musician, she plays the violin and piano, and is in a five-piece band called Damsen.

Olivia is very active on social media platforms Instagram and Twitter and regularly shares snaps of her travels with her family.

The keen jetsetter has visited Dubai with her sister and revealed that her dream holiday would be to Bali.

Emmerdale is Olivia’s only TV credit, however, before joining the soap as a part-time cast member she spent the majority of her short career performing on stage.
