Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale fans have been left disappointed over a ‘missing’ scene in the soap’s crash episode.
Last night’s (May 9) instalment saw Ethan Anderson and Nicky Miligan involved in a car crash as Ethan drove to pick up Suni Sharma, with the two losing consciousness.
When Ethan came to, he managed to get Nicky out of the vehicle, though fled the scene when he saw Moira Dingle approaching, worrying that he was over the legal alcohol limit.

However, fans watching the episode have spoken out after the episode failed to show the actual crash, Emmerdale instead showing Ethan speeding on the road before cutting to an ad break, and then returning to the crash having taken place.
“#Emmerdale We didn’t even see the car crash?” one viewer wrote on X (formerly Twitter), while another added: “Bit of a gap between the end of the episode and the next. Could’ve shown a crash!”
“And…. we don’t see the crash,” a third said, while a fourth echoed: “We didn’t even get to see the crash? You’re no fun anymore #emmerdale.”
“#Emmerdale we don’t even get the crash,” another viewer wrote. “Unless there’s this new concept of a flashback show later on.”
Following on from the shocking turn of events, Charles is set to report Ethan to the police after learning about his son’s involvement in the crash.
“There’s always that battle between ‘Charles the vicar’ and ‘Charles the man and father’,” star Kevin Mathurin explained to Digital Spy and other press. “He wants to do right by his son, obviously. But righteously, the right thing is to own up and face the consequences.
