Emmerdale hunk Danny Miller admits ‘I’d still be a virgin’ if it wasn’t for ITV role

Emmerdale star Danny Miller previously confessed that he would still be a virgin if he didn’t work on the ITV soap.

Known for playing troubled Aaron Dingle on the show, Danny’s character has gone through many highs and lows. But the much-loved actor once said he wouldn’t be a hit with the ladies if it wasn’t for his famous role.

Back in 2015, he told Heat Magazine: “[If I wasn’t acting, I’d be] a virgin. No doubt about it.”

At the time, the actor also said no one had seen him in the nude for quite some while. He said: “Just me. Unless anyone has peepy holes into my house that I don’t know about.”

However, nine years later, Danny’s life has completely changed. The I’m A Celeb star married his childhood sweetheart Steph Jones and the pair share two children together.

Despite having a long career in Emmerdale, the actor left the soap in 2010 for a brief while. He then left again in 2021.

To fans’ surprise, Danny reprised his role last year. Danny’s character Aaron found himself in a spot of bother while in Europe, which led his uncle Cain and Caleb to bring him right back home to Emmerdale.

The star returned to the show last year

Talking candidly to Daily Star and other associated press about his return last year, he said: “It’s almost like a new job for me because I see it completely differently. I’ve obviously been back a couple of times but this time I’m very appreciative of the job.”

He added: “I’m very thankful for being back here and obviously I have a family now that need feeding so for that, it makes it a fun way to do that. And obviously being around the corner from them now because we relocated over here and stuff, shows that I really want to commit to the show and just show them and the audience how much I love it and how much respect and thanks I got for it.”

Since Aaron’s return, he’s been hit with health woes. Earlier this year, Aaron’s mother Chas revealed to her family that the cause of her cancer is due to the faulty BRCA2 gene.

Chas urged Aaron and her brothers Cain and Caleb to get tested. Although Cain and Caleb were fine, Aaron discovered that he also was a carrier of the gene.
