Nicola Wheeler (Nicola King) gave us a sneak peek into what’s next for her Emmerdale on-screen daughter, Angelica King. Remember when Angelica was involved in a car accident that changed everything on New Year’s Eve? Well, Nicola and Jimmy, her parents, tried to keep it a secret at first, but now it’s all coming out.

Nicola spilled some juicy details about Angelica’s future after her eigh-month sentencing. In a press con, the Emmerdale actress explained how her alter ego will handle her daughter’s sentencing. She said that at first, it feels like forever! But as time passes, they (Jimmy & Nicola) realise it’s only eight months.

The star added, “But when you’re not there for your daughter, you can’t go and visit every day; it’s hell on earth, isn’t it?” However, she believes that Nicola needs to understand that she has Carl and Elliot, too. In the upcoming episodes of Emmerdale, Nicola starts getting upset, but Jimmy steps in to motivate her.

Additionally, Wheeler mentions Bob’s recent peace offering also gives her character and Jimmy some relief. She discusses that Kings’ lives will never be the same after all that has happened. The seasoned actress, “I just think something like that taints or stains you slightly.”
