Emmerdale Village Tour tickets and vouchers – how to buy as gifts

Emmerdale fans can walk in the footsteps of their favourite characters thanks to the show’s official tour, which offers an exclusive opportunity to go behind the scenes.

The long-running soap’s location scenes are filmed in a purpose-built village on the Harewood Estate in Leeds, which for many years was closed to visitors.

That all changed in 2015 when ITV decided to show off the village as a tourist attraction on weekends, and thousands of fans have flocked to the set ever since.

The Tour makes a perfect present for fans, but how do you buy tickets and vouchers? And what other alternate Emmerdale experiences are on offer? Read on for our full guide.

The Emmerdale Village Tour gives lucky fans the opportunity to visit the show’s outdoor set, which is used for exterior scenes in almost every episode.

Emmerdale‘s busy cast and crew film on the set during the week, but the Tours take place on weekends – giving viewers the exciting opportunity to see the exterior locations for The Woolpack, the café, the local shop and many more.

Tickets are available on select weekends and must be pre-booked.

You can get the best price for a direct booking via the official Emmerdale Village Tours website. It’s £35 per person for the standard version of the Tour and you select a day and time of your choosing when making the booking.

The Star Tours version, which offers the chance to meet a surprise member of the cast, is available from £55 per person.

Meanwhile, if you’d like to buy tickets for someone as a present, gift vouchers are probably a better option as the lucky recipient can then choose the most convenient day and time for them when redeeming the voucher.

Purchases for gift vouchers can be made on sites like Virgin Experience Days, which offers a gift voucher for two people to enjoy the standard version of the Tour for £76.

Vouchers are valid for 12 months, offering plenty of time to plan a trip. They also include complimentary bus transfer from the designated meet-up point to the Emmerdale set.
