Emmerdale’s Amelia Flanagan looked worlds away from her soap alter ego as she shared a glam snap with her little sister.
The 15-year-old is best known to TV viewers for playing April Windsor in the ITV soap, a role she’s had since 2014. Her younger sister Isabella, 12, stars as Hope Stape in Coronation Street.
This week the pair took some time out for a cute photoshoot as they stressed the importance of their sisterly bond, leaving fans utterly charmed. Amelia looked worlds away from her Dales character in the sweet selfies.
Posted on Instagram, the shots showed the TV star sisters out and about for the day, with Amelia in a pale green top and black jacket and Bella wrapped up in a white coat. Both wore their brunette locks loose over the shoulders as they pouted at the camera for the snaps.
Amelia was wearing silver earrings and a necklace and looked fresh-faced for her day with her sibling. “Best friend forever,” she captioned the pictures, adding a blue heart emoji. Bella then shared one of the images on her own Instagram Story, telling fans that Amelia was her “lifelong best friend”.
Fans loved the pictures of the soap stars, dropping red heart emojis in the comments section to show their appreciation. “Both so talented,” said one of Amelia’s followers, as another said the shots were “lovely”.
Isabella has previously said that her big sister inspired her when it came to acting. The Mirror previously quoted her as saying that she had loved watching Amelia on screen when she was younger.
