Emmerdale‘s Bradley Johnson is engaged.
The actor, 26, known for his role as Vinny Dingle on the ITV soap, made a heartwarming announcement on Saturday.
During a romantic trip to Rome, Italy, Bradley proposed to his girlfriend, Sammie Johnstone, who he has been dating since August.
Sharing the joyful moment on Instagram, Bradley posted a photo in front of the Colosseum with their sparkling engagement ring on display.
His caption simply read, ‘When in Rome……’ followed by a ring emoji.
The news of their engagement prompted an outpouring of congratulations from his co-stars.
Danny Miller – who recently returned to the soap as Aaron Dingle – penned: ‘Knew you’d smash it my brother!!! Congratulations Brad and Sammy! Sending all the love mate. Enjoy!’
Natalie Ann Jamieson, who plays Amy Wyatt, wrote: ‘Congratulations!!! Can’t believe she said yes!? hahaha. Lots of love you beautiful pair x x.’
Karen Blick – who plays Dingle matriarch Lydia on the show – shared her thoughts, writing: ‘Ahh fabulous news congratulations guys,’ and Dean Andrews – who plays Will Taylor – wrote: ‘Congrats you two lovebirds. I can see where the Emmerdale budget is going.’

Mark Charnock who is known as Marlon Dingle in the ITV soap said: ‘Ooh my god!!! Thrilled for you both’
Notably, back in August 2022, Bradley celebrated their one-year anniversary with a sweet tribute to Sammie, expressing his love and anticipation for many more years together.
The sweet news comes after Emmerdale fans are convinced they’ve ‘figured out’ the identity of Craig’s killer after the rapist was found dead in shocking scenes.
In shocking scenes, Craig’s lifeless body was seen in the fields of Home Farm, and every single member of the Dingle family is a suspect.
The build-up to Craig’s death saw each of the Dingle’s plotting his downfall, with Lydia’s husband Sam seen fleeing across the farm with blood on his hands.
