In a recent development on Little People, Big World, Matt Roloff has officially taken over as the Secretary of Roloff Farms, a role previously held by his ex-wife, Amy Roloff. This change comes one year after Amy moved off the farm, marking a significant shift in the family business’s management.
Amy, who had served as the Secretary of the farm for several years, sold her portion of the farm to Matt in 2019 for $667,000. The sale followed tensions between the ex-spouses, with Amy accusing Matt of pushing her out of the property they had once shared. The couple, who divorced in 2016 after 30 years of marriage, bought the farm together in 1990 for just $185,000.
Amy has since moved on, purchasing a new home in Hillsboro, Oregon, where she now lives with her fiancé, Chris Marek. Despite their past conflicts, Amy and Matt appear to be on better terms, although Matt and his girlfriend, Karen Chandler, will not be attending Amy and Chris’s upcoming wedding on Roloff Farms. Instead, they plan to spend time at their vacation home in Arizona.
As both couples focus on their new lives, they are committed to maintaining a positive relationship for the sake of their children and grandchildren.
