Home and Away star Matt Evans has shed 10kgs and isn’t afraid to show off his new ripped physique.
The heartthrob, 26, recently shared a before and after shot on Instagram of his body makeover, revealing he shed the pounds through diet and exercise.
But Matt also revealed a unique thing about his training – revealing he turned to weights and ditched cardio for his shred.
Matt said he’s now dropped down to 80kg, which he feels comfortable at, after starting his shred at 90kg.
He revealed he dropped the pounds in a total of eight weeks and thanked his trainer for their help.
‘I did a massive bulk last year which then lasted through Christmas and it was the first time I had ever weighed 90kgs in my life,’ Matt explained in his post.
‘I am now back at 80kgs where I like to sit.’
He went on to thank his trainer and said he would sometimes go on an exercise walk if he needed cardio.
‘Harris wrote up my diet plan and training plan which YES DID NOT involve cardio. I just went for an occasional walk if I wanted to be more active. Harris made the diet easy to follow and all you have to do is eat the food and show up to the gym,’ he said.
‘The training program was catered to my needs with weight training,’ he added.
‘Looking beast brother,’ one follower wrote underneath.
Matt joined Home and Away in late 2021 – despite having no previous acting experience.
