It’s the morning after the night before for Xander and Dana. Mortified, Dana gathers her clothes in haste and sneaks out. She powers home but is spotted by Irene and Harper, which tips them off that this is the aftermath of a hot date. Dana’s obvious avoidance of Xander in the Diner is confirmation for her sister.
Dana is in crisis mode, but Harper declines her request to retrieve the phone she left at Xander’s. After another failure to recruit Irene to recover the phone, Dana admits her insecurities. She and Xander have been here before and she always gets burnt. When Harper reveals to Xander that she knows about his night with Dana, he arrives home to spring Dana retrieving her phone from his room. Meanwhile, Cash and Eden celebrate the fact that Stevie Marlow’s stalker is behind bars. Now Cash done with being Stevie’s bodyguard, and she can finally rest easy. However, it isn’t long into a romantic walk when Stevie herself pulls up in front of Cash and Eden. She’s full of conviction – this time it’s not about her stalker.
They sit down for a drink at Salt and Stevie explains she wants Cash to stay on as her personal security. He admits to Eden that he’s tempted, but ultimately, he turns down Stevie’s offer as Eden needs him right now. Stevie accepts but before she leaves, she’s sure to remind Cash that this isn’t a goodbye.
Elsewhere, Felicity approaches Harper, worried about Tane. Harper explains that Tane has got his court date in five weeks. With the best of intentions, Felicity approaches her ex to offer support. Tane resists at first, but soon opens up to her. He believes that if he shows remorse, he might get a lighter sentence, but the truth is he doesn’t regret what he did. He’s going to jail, probably for a long time, and he’s scared.
