Eden answers the phone to a distressed and angry Imogen in the wake of Levi’s affair bombshell. She confronts Eden about being his cover story, and Eden admits that’s true. But when she protests that she didn’t know all along, Imogen refuses to listen.
It’s only when Eden fronts up in person to declare that she’d also be happy to never see her brother again, Imogen crumbles. Talking through the affair, Eden reveals the other woman to have been Mackenzie and declares they’re no longer friends as a result.
When Imogen finds a flicker of hope for her marriage, Eden sets Imogen straight and insists that she’s better off without Levi. However, she promises to be there to support Imogen.
Mackenzie comforts Levi. Levi admits that he’s worried about Imogen, but ignores Mac’s advice to leave her be. When she presses, he snaps at her and warns not to tell him how to handle his marriage.
Once Levi has calmed down, he apologises to an understanding Mackenzie. They settle in for dinner when Eden lets herself in with a fierce warning. She insists that Levi should leave Imogen alone and stop pretending he cares. Levi is left feeling even worse.
Meanwhile, Theo has had his first counselling appointment since he stopped using drugs, and Leah checks in on how her nephew is doing. When she broaches the subject, Theo is candid about how the psychologist has suggested he simplify his life, and now he has some big decisions to make.
Leah and Justin draw the conclusion that he might want to scale back TAFE or his commitments at the garage, but he tells Justin that’s not where he’s feeling the strain. Instead, he needs to walk away from Lyrik.
