Justin immediately throws himself into wedding planning, but Leah asks that they slow down and not tell anyone for a few days. She promises that she’s not having second thoughts. Justin reluctantly agrees, but he can barely contain himself when they see Irene later.

Finally, Leah concedes and Justin shares the good news with their dear friend. Irene is thrilled for them, but privately checks with Leah that things aren’t moving too quickly.

At home, Justin is devastated to hear Leah on the phone to her doctor. She explains that a lot has been happening and she’s not sure how she feels about it.

Meanwhile, Mac overhears from Cash that Eden has been visiting with her brother. She can’t resist probing about Levi’s wife and whether Eden met her. Mac’s disappointment is palpable when Eden raves about Imogen’s virtues. When Mac hears that they’re planning a family, she’s gobsmacked.

Elsewhere, Remi is quick to encourage Bree to accept the job offer from Doctors Without Borders, as he’ll be right here when she gets back. Bree doesn’t seem so sure. When they talk later, she tells him that she’s not going, as so much has changed since she applied.

Remi doesn’t want Bree to turn the opportunity down because of his injury. After some initial tension, Bree reveals the truth behind her change of heart – she’d give anything to get back time with her dad. She now wants to ensure she makes the most of her time with the people she loves – her mum and Remi.
