Eden is on the phone to Levi, questioning whether she should take Remi to emergency. Levi advises so, but Remi, still on the bathroom floor, thinks otherwise. Kirby is worried – she’ll give him thirty minutes, then she’s calling an ambulance.
Levi turns up, and Eden’s relieved to see him. One shot of morphine later and he’s satisfied that Remi’s okay. He’ll head to Salt, glad for the excuse to see Mackenzie. His plans are foiled however when a grateful Eden opts to join him uninvited.
Mac’s eyes light up when they land on Levi, but her face quickly falls when his sister follows shortly behind him. Nonetheless, when Mac and Levi do speak, the interaction is charged, and they can’t help but exchange flirty smiles across the bar. Are they ready to resume their affair already?
As Levi leaves Salt, he scans the bar for Mackenzie, seeing no sign of his former patient and flame. But as he approaches his car, she’s right there waiting for him. It’s not long until they’re tearing each other’s clothes off in Levi’s hotel room, and when they’re interrupted by a call from his wife, they simply ignore it and keep going.
When Remi wakes later and is feeling better, he can’t even finish his apology before Kirby’s forgiven him. She reiterates – she feels terrible lying to Bree, but Remi reminds her that it’s not on her. Remi adds that Bree should be with her father as she’ll regret it if she isn’t.
As Remi and Eden hang out later, Eden’s interrupted by an important text – their kidnappers are being sentenced the following week, and both of them have the opportunity to submit victim impact statements.
Meanwhile, Harper trawls through her ex-boyfriend’s socials, deflated at the fact that she has nobody in her life, while he already has a baby with his new partner. Dana is preparing to cheer her up, and the sisters share a cocktail and revisit the story of how Harper left her ex at the altar.
Dana has every sympathy for her sister, but Harper gets it – he deserves to move on with his life. It’s just that today made her realise she has nobody special in hers. Dana vows to step up and fix that.
