Home and Away airs a tragic death storyline on UK screens next week.
Channel 5 viewers are about to see the heartbreaking final scenes featuring guest character Stevie Marlow, played by Catherine Văn-Davies.
Upcoming episodes see Stevie continue to work on her new romcom movie All Our Tomorrows, which is currently being filmed in Summer Bay.
While Stevie films an important scene on the beach, her bodyguard Cash Newman receives a call to alert him to imminent danger.
It turns out that Stevie’s stalker Sidney has been released, as his trial collapsed based on a technicality.
Cash rushes to the beach to get Stevie to safety, but it’s already too late as Sidney arrives in the Bay and fires a gun.
Stevie collapses to the ground after being shot by the dangerous villain, causing most of the film crew to immediately flee from the beach in terror.
Alf Stewart calls for the emergency services, while film director Nelson Giles joins his team as they take refuge in the Surf Club.
Cash is determined to maintain his duty to Stevie and stays right by her side as they wait for the ambulance to arrive.
The former policeman tries his best to keep Stevie talking, but she eventually loses consciousness.
Later, Stevie is admitted to the Northern Districts Hospital, where Bree Cameron and Levi Fowler are on duty.
Remi Carter rushes into the operating theatre and makes an emotional plea to his ex-girlfriend Bree, begging her to save his new partner.
Bree tries to calm Remi by assuring him that Stevie will be okay, but Levi privately points out that it may be a promise she can’t keep.
Levi’s warning proves accurate as he and Bree struggle to revive Stevie.
As Bree performs compressions for much longer than usual, Levi steps in and gently points out that their patient has passed away and they can’t keep going just for Remi’s sake.
