Home and Away spoilers follow.
Home and Away‘s Parata family have been reunited off screen, as actor Ethan Browne has shared a trio of photos of himself catching up with his former co-stars.
Browne, who plays Tane Parata in the soap, documented the “rare sighting” of himself with Rob Kipa-Williams, who played Tane’s brother Ari, and Kawakawa Fox-Reo, who starred as Tane’s nephew Nikau, on Instagram.
Browne shared three snaps of the former co-stars with their arms around each other as they enjoyed some drinks, and captioned the post “Kia ora brothers” (‘Kia ora’ is a Māori-language greeting).
Kipa-Williams jokingly commented on the post “Parata boys in da house.. ghosts are real ..” referring to his character Ari’s death on the soap.
Home and Away fans were just as delighted to see the Parata family back together again, with one fan commenting, “Ah I miss seeing the Parata family together!” and another writing, “The reunion we all needed”.
Another of Browne’s followers, meanwhile, had an idea for a brand new show which could reunite the Paratas on-screen, too, as they commented, “We need a spin off showing the early days of the brothers before they came to the bay. Please”.
Tane is now the only member of the Parata family remaining in Summer Bay, with Ari having lost his life in 2022 following a battle with a rare form of cancer.
Nikau then departed with a happier ending in 2023, as he got back together with ex-girlfriend Bella and moved to New York with her.
Tane, meanwhile, is facing yet more trouble in the Bay, as he continues to wrestle with his feelings over estranged wife Felicity Newman following her lies about wanting to start a family with him.
Australian fans have also seen Tane become embroiled with a baby who he discovers abandoned on the beach, with his attachment to the little girl causing some concern for his loved ones.
