Two stars of the beloved Aussie TV show McLeod’s Daughters are set to join the cast of Home and Away.
Rachael Carpani and Aaron Jeffery are both due to make their Summer Bay debuts later this year.
Rachael is best known for playing Jodi Fountain on McLeod’s Daughters, while she previously held a minor role on Home and Away as a diner waitress in 2001.
Actress Rachael, 43, will be joining Home and Away as newcomer Claudia Salini, with the name of the character being revealed on her acting CV.
It doesn’t say whether she will feature as a guest or a main character.
Meanwhile, Aaron, 53, will appear for the first time on the show as guest star James ‘Jimmy’ Fowler.
Based on his character’s name, it is likely that he will portray the father of Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) and Levi (Tristan Gorey) Fowler.
It comes amid reports that their sister Abigail, said to be played by Hailey Pinto, is set to arrive in Summer Bay later this year in a mysterious new plot.

Aaron and Rachael’s stint on Home and Away has also prompted rumours that Seven could pick up a long-awaited reboot of McLeod’s Daughters, according to Yahoo!.
The show originally aired on Channel Nine, but reboot plans fell through in 2017 due to ‘creative differences with a third party’ and the project has not yet come to screen.
Elsewhere this week, Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli dropped a huge hint that Kate Ritchie is set to return to Home and Away.

‘I know you’re going back to the Bay,’ he told Kate live on air. ‘I’ve seen your emails as I sit next to you in the office.’
Kate jokingly replied: ‘No you don’t, you have bad eyes.’
Rumours of Kate’s return resurged last week when she joined an epic Home and Away reunion at Ray Meagher’s 80th birthday celebrations.
The actress took to her Instagram Stories to give an insight into the fun-filled celebrations, which came two weeks ahead of Ray’s big birthday on July 4.
Fan favourite Ray has starred as Alf Stewart on Home and Away since the show’s very first episode back in 1988.
