Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have announced their shock split after 14 years of marriage in a bizarre statement with the pair wearing tennis outfits – amid the controversy surrounding Cohen being named in Rebel Wilson’s bombshell memoir.
The famous celebrity couple are known for keeping their romance largely private, however they have both shared some tantalizing insights into their relationship over the years often making headlines.
In a recently resurfaced interview, the former Home and Away star admitted that she had made love to her funnyman husband while he was dressed as Borat.
In another candid interview, Fisher said it was ‘love at first sight’ when she met the UK-born Sacha met at a party in Sydney in 2002 and married eight years later.

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT – 2002
The couple met in 2002 at a party in Isla’s native Australia, immediately hitting it off.
Isla would later tell Marie Claire that meeting Sacha was like ‘winning the lottery’. She said their relationship was built on ‘a shared sense of humor and a willingness to be married’.
Cohen told The New York Times in October 2020: ‘I knew instantly. I don’t know if she did. It’s taken her about 20 years to know.’
Just two years later the pair got engaged in 2004.
STARTING A FAMILY – 2007
The pair welcomed their first daughter, Olivia, on October 17, 2007.
They also welcomed their second daughter, Elula, in summer 2010, and their first son, Montgomery, on March 17, 2015.
Olive is now 16, Elula is 13, and Montgomery is nine.
WEDDING IN PARIS – March 2010
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in Paris in March 2010.
Isla revealed that she had converted to Judaism to honor her then-fiancé prior to getting married.
‘I will definitely have a Jewish wedding just to be with Sacha. I would do anything — move into any religion — to be united in marriage with him,’ she told the Evening Standard.
