Home and Away fans have spotted Tim Franklin in blockbuster movie The Fall Guy.
The actor, who played Colby Thorne on the soap from 2018 to 2021, appeared in the film alongside Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling in a small speaking role.
One eagle-eyed viewer noticed him in the Hollywood movie and shared the news to social media.
Squealed in the middle of the cinema when I saw Tim Franklin in the new movie The Fall Guy alongside Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling,’ they wrote.
A second commented: ‘I had to look twice but it’s definitely him and I’m so proud of him.’
‘I watched it and didn’t notice him,’ a third admitted.
Tim also took to social media to share the exciting news, writing: ‘So proud to be a part of this epic film. What an action packed meta masterpiece.’
Several Hollywood stars including Chris Hemsworth and Isla Fisher launched their careers on Home and Away.
Chris scored the role of teenager Kim Hyde in 2004 at the age of 20.
During his three year stint on the Channel Seven soap, the hunky actor had his fair share of dramatic storylines.
His character Kim fell in with the wrong crowd at one stage and almost died after overdosing on ecstasy.
After leaving Home and Away in 2007, it took Chris just two years to crack the US market with a small but significant role as James Kirk’s dad on the J.J. Abrams’-directed Star Trek (2009).
The bit part saw movie makers take notice of Chris, with the actor landing key roles in Thor, Snow White And the Huntsman, Ghostbusters and The Avengers.
Meanwhile, Isla appeared on Home and Away as Shannon Reed from 1994 until 1997, before eventually moving to Los Angeles and trying her luck in Hollywood.
In 2005, she landed a breakout role in Wedding Crashers alongside Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, and has worked steadily in films ever since.
