Coronation Street enthusiasts have speculated on how Kit will exact his revenge on his mother, Bernie.

Earlier this year, Bernie (played by Jane Hazlegrove) admitted to having a son whom she relinquished for adoption nearly three decades ago. The only information she had was that his name was changed from Zodiac to Christopher Green shortly after his birth.

Moreover, Kit played a role in getting Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper), a notorious criminal, imprisoned for the murder of Lauren Bolton. As fans may remember, the troubled young girl vanished earlier this year and is presumed dead, reports the Express.

However, in a shocking turn of events, Kit planted Lauren’s DNA in paedophile Nathan’s van, framing him. In reality, viewers discovered the truth about Lauren’s disappearance: she was actually killed by solicitor Joel Deering (Calum Lill).

Kit managed to air his grievances without Bernie’s interference, leading to a dramatic confrontation between Gemma, Paul, and their mother, as he accused her of being willing to abandon him as a child.

Viewers of the popular ITV soap are now speculating that this is not the last we’ll see of Kit and Bernie, with some fans predicting that Kit might even frame his mother for a crime as part of his vengeance.

On Reddit, one viewer questioned: “What’s Kit’s game here? ! ” to which another responded: “Get back at Bernie probably make Paul hate her and not be able to forgive her :(.”
