ITV Coronation Street ‘lets slip’ how Lauren Bolton’s killer will be exposed after text clue

Coronation Street’s latest episode saw Dee-Dee Bailey confirm the discovery of some messages on Lauren’s O-
Vidz account that could tease her whereabouts, with an expert called in to help

Coronation Street may have teased a twist after the latest episode of the ITV soap, as some telling messages came to light.
There appeared to be a hint as to what will lead to Lauren Bolton’s real killer being exposed. Dee-Dee Bailey’s mission to have Roy
Cropper freed from prison, with him wrongly charged over the murder of missing Lauren, took a turn after a discovery.

Dee-Dee told Roy’s loved ones that some messages had been found from Lauren’s O-Vidz account, with contact between her and her
subscribers. Dee-Dee suggested the person who possibly kidnapped or killed Lauren could have been messaging her, with fans still
yet to find out the identity of the ex who was harassing the teen.
Either way, Dee-Dee was sure the messages would confirm Roy is not the killer, given the types of messages Lauren was receiving with
some containing spelling errors. It’s these typos that could finally give away who the killer is.

As she took the messages to DS Swain, she urged the detective to consider it as evidence. But Swain suggested there was nothing
concrete enough to release Roy, and the messages did not confirm a killer.

Dee-Dee refused to give up though and told Swain she’d be getting the messages analysed by an expert. She said she had someone
in mind in London who worked with The Met and had experience in this field.
As she prepared to have the messages analysed and looked into to see whether someone could decipher the messages and who
might have sent them, the scenes may have teased how the real culprit will be found out. There was a number of mentions of certain
words being spelled incorrectly in the messages.
So all it may take is for someone, a suspect, to spell those same words wrong, and the same way they are written in the messages,
and we may have our killer. So can we expect an upcoming scene where one character writes something down and gives away they
are behind the messages, and could therefore be the man the police are looking for?
