The stars of Coronation Street have rushed to compliment their co-star couple Sally Carman and Joe Duttine who are taking time away from the soap to spend time in Ibiza. The Abi Webstar actress, who is married to the actor who plays Tim Metcalfe in the ITV soap, has shared some updates from their sunny holiday destination.
Sally, 43, joined the cast of the cobbles back in 2017, as Abi Franklin, the drug-addicted mother of teenager Seb Franklin. Since appearing on our screens she has been involved in many drastic storylines, from fighting her addiction to tragically losing her son, who was killed in a ruthless hate attack in 2021.
Outside of the soap, Sally is happily married to her co-star Joe Duttine who plays Tim Metcalfe. The pair are enjoying some time away together with Sally sharing a glimpse of the trip with her 153,000 followers. 
On Monday (July 1), the actress shared a collection of images on different parts of the island. She could be seen showing off a lovely striped dress and also beamed in a selfie with the sun shining behind her. Another picture also showed Sally with her husband Joe as they both beamed with happiness.

Many Corrie stars were quick to react to the photos. Taking to the comments section, Sally Dynevor who plays Joe’s on-screen wife Sally, said: “Wow, beautiful”, while Claire Sweeney who plays Cassie Plummer shared a string of red heart emojis.
Tanisha Gorey, who plays Asha Alahan, commented: “Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous,” DS Swain actress Vicky Myers wrote: “Goddess!”, and Simon Gregson who plays Steve McDonald added: “Sandals”. Then, sharing a further update on Tuesday (July 2), Sally posted some more photos in the sunshine as she wrote: “Missed the plane (not great) extra bonus night at @latorredelcanonigo (pretty awesome ) #ibiza #longerweekend #ooops.”
