Coronation Street spoilers reveal missing Lauren Bolton’s mum Kerry makes contact, but there’s soon a major discovery about the woman’s real identity
Coronation Street airs a new twist in the Lauren Bolton murder storyline next week.
Just weeks ago police shared their belief Lauren had been murdered after she went missing last month. After blood and traces of human tissue were found at her flat, as well as a possible weapon, detectives began the hunt for her possible killer.
Roy Cropper was arrested and questioned by police, and next week things get worse when he is charged with the murder of Lauren. But before that happens, there’s a moment where Lauren’s mother Kerry makes contact.
Kerry arrives in Weatherfield to speak with Roy, or so he thinks, but there’s a shocking discovery about the woman in question’s true identity. The woman claiming to be Kerry is soon exposed to be an imposter, and is actually a woman named Alice.
After an upcoming episode sees Roy make contact with Kerry, wanting to share his condolences over Lauren’s presumed death. Next week, spoilers reveal Lauren’s Mum, Kerry, calls at the café and introduces herself to Roy.
Just a day later though, it’s revealed there’s more to the scenes than what has been revealed. Roy is left shaken when Kerry calls him and begs him to leave her alone and to never contact her again.
The woman on the phone is not the character claiming to be Kerry who has visited Roy, the same woman who is in the café when this conversation happens. Shaken, he speeds back to the café to alert Nina and Shona what he has uncovered.
