Coronation Street’s Liam Mccheyne has been flooded with support as he shared a special career update.
The soap star has won acclaim for his portrayal of Dylan Wilson in the long-running soap. The actor has been at the centre of a tough storyline as Liam Connor’s mental health spiralled after he was targeted by bully, Mason Radcliffe.

Liam has taken to social media to share the announcement as he said: “I would just like to take the opportunity to thank the editorial team at Radio Times for nominating both myself and @charliewrenshallofficial for the Best Young Performer category for this year’s Radio Times soap award.
He said: “This means the world to both of us, and we are both very excited. Keep an eye out as voting opens [May 13]. Lots of love to you all.”
