Emmerdale’s Thursday night episode left fans totally gobsmacked as Ella Forster (played by Paula Lane) made a shock comeback to the village.
Caught by the iconic Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley), Ella spilt the beans that she was just there to grab her stuff and had no plans to stay put.
After confessing she’d been roughing it out in her car, Ella said she was after a new start somewhere else.
However, she suddenly got into a nasty crash involving Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley).
Turns out, Dawn’s biological mum Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco) accidentally spiked her instead when trying to drug ex-flame Will Taylor (Dean Andrews).
But Ella showing up and tangling herself in a car wreck wasn’t the only mega twist during the episode.

There we were, everyone jaws-dropped in A&E, when we find out Ella’s got a bun in the oven and it’s Liam Cavanagh’s (Jonny McPherson), who she used to date before it all kicked off.
Social media was buzzing with chatter about the mad plot twist. One fan dropped on Twitter: “Ella’s pregnant? ! Tonight’s ep is off the scale…!” (sic)
While another piped up: “Ella’s pregnant… with Liam’s baby?” (sic)
One viewer didn’t hold back, ranting: “Another pregnancy? Have they got nothing else? Pregnancy storylines are BORING!” (sic)

Another said: “Liam will not want that baby with Ella in #Emmerdale.” (sic)
Chipping in, another fan suggested: “I’m not so sure. He lost his only child so may be up for a new one.” (sic)
Ella, who left the village in June after her true identity as Ruth Davies was revealed and it came to light that she had committed a murder at the age of 11, has returned.
Having spent most of her life behind bars for her crime, she assumed a new identity upon her release and reintegrated into society five years ago.

However, her confession to Liam sparked his anger, as it reminded him of the tragic murder of his teenage daughter by Meena Jutla (played by Paige Sandhu) in 2021.
Now that she’s back and pregnant with his child, will they rekindle their relationship despite his budding feelings for Chas Dingle (portrayed by Lucy Pargeter).
