Emmerdale Actress Claire King Teases Replacement Of ‘Nice’ Kim

It’s confirmed that Kim Tate is heading back to her dark side in the upcoming storyline of Emmerdale. Claire King, who plays Kim, has revealed that more of the villainous Kim Tate is on the way. Currently, Kim is struggling because Will Taylor’s ex, Rose Jackson, has moved into Home Farm.

A while ago, the newcomer made her way back into the lives of her ex-husband and daughter, Dawn. However, she is proving to be a great help to Dawn, who is dealing with her son Evan’s leukemia diagnosis. Recently, the Emmerdale star had a conversation with Inside Soap. Amidst it, she hinted that “nice” Kim might soon be replaced by the “naughty” Kim.

She explained that while Kim has always had a gentler side, anyone who crosses her, like Caleb did, should watch out. She added, “That side of her is always lying just beneath the surface.” The soap star admitted it was enjoyable to play a softer side of Kim, and it definitely added depth to the Emmerdale character.

However, she found the ‘naughty’ Kim much more fun with her sharp one-liners. The actress revealed, “However, I think the audience is waiting for a reappearance of naughty Kim, and maybe they might have their chance soon.” She suggested that Rose should be cautious if Kim targets her, teasing a potential clash in the future.

King declared that her alter-ego wouldn’t tolerate Rose for even five minutes if it weren’t for Dawn and the family.
