“Is dad gonna go to heaven? Is he gonna be with Papa?”
After Zach’s situation didn’t show any signs of improving, he eventually had to have emergency surgery. Ultimately, everything went well, but at the time, there were a lot of worries in the family over whether Zach would survive. Some of those concerns came from Tori and Zach’s own children. Jackson, their firstborn, asked Tori at one point, “Is dad gonna go to heaven? Is he gonna be with Papa?” That was really hard for Tori to have to deal with as she explained, “We kept saying he’s sick like we did with Papa, and so he did have this moment of ‘I’m gonna lose my dad.’ And that was heartbreaking.”
As mentioned, the surgery was a huge success. On their podcast, Zach was happy to report that he hasn’t had a migraine since the surgery. Both husband and wife are super thankful that everything worked out. Zach thanked his wife for taking on the huge responsibility of caring for their kids when he couldn’t be there. Tori is glad that Zach is “alive and kicking and doing your thing.” They are both in a celebratory mood now.
There are a lot of dramatic storylines that will take place during Little People, Big World season 25. Zach’s medical emergency will surely be the biggest one of them all, since fans will get the chance to see everything up close as the family deals with the possibility of losing Zach. In a recent preview clip, Tori said she didn’t want to leave the hospital until she knew what was going on with her husband. The scary nature of this situation will be front and center when Little People, Big World returns.
