Little People Big World: Lilah Has Medical Issues Beyond Achondroplasia

When most Little People Big World fans think of little people, they often think of various conditions associated with achondroplasia. In Lilah’s case, she has other things she is dealing with on top of that. One of the conditions she contends with is Strabismus.

Strabismus is a condition where the eyes don’t look exactly in the same direction at the same time. This can result in the eyes appearing cross-eyed, or, one eye either looking inward or outward depending on a person’s specific case.

With this being the case for Lilah Roloff, many Little People Big World fans often ask about her vision and how she is doing with that.

LPBW: Tori Roloff Gives Update On Lilah’s Condition

Based on a recent Little People Big World fan question about Lilah Roloff and her eye condition, Tori Roloff gave an update regarding how Lilah is doing. Particularly since Zach and Tori quit the family reality show, many viewers are even more curious about the kids and everything they have going on away from the cameras.

According to Tori Roloff, she said of Lilah’s Strabismus: “Its still very much there but has improved and is barely noticeable when she is wearing her glasses.”

Little People Big World: Will Lilah Roloff Need Surgery In The Future?

As Little People Big World fans know, Lilah Roloff, despite being only a few years old, is already no stranger to having to go under the knife. Back in May, Lilah went under the knife to have her tonsils taken out. This was one of the things they did in order to help her with her sleep apnea.

According to Tori Roloff, that may not be the last surgery her daughter has to have. Particularly as it relates to her Strabismus, Tori said: “She will most likely need surgery to correct but she’s a unique case and so were waiting as long as possible to see how much growth occurs in hopes that she only needs one surgery for it.”

Lilah has already proven that she is a trooper when it comes to how she dealt with her previous surgery. Viewers love her, and hope for the best for her as she continues to grow. If all goes according to plan as Tori suggests, hopefully, Lilah will only need one surgery to correct this issue.
