The 2024 Married At First Sight cast have certainly brought the drama during the latest nail-biting series of the Channel Nine experiment.
And the unexpected twists and turns keep on coming, with several cast members already revealing their post-show romances.
While the first series is still airing on Nine, spoilers have revealed the fate of some of the couples as they have been spotted out-and-about in recent days.
The bombshells are expected to drop during the upcoming reunion, when the relationship experts learn who have stood the test of time and who have gone their separate ways.
Now, Daily Mail Australia untangles all the MAFS post-filming drama from one unlikely cheating scandal to new romances, and some very explosive rows.
JONO AND ELLIE SHOCK TWIST
Jonathan McCullough and Ellie Dix are set to become embroiled in a cheating scandal after originally being paired up with other partners on the show.
Jono, 39, is currently ‘married’ to Lauren Dunn on-screen while Ellie’s romance with groom Ben Walters hit the rocks during the latest dinner party as he publicly broke up with her.
However, Daily Mail Australia revealed how MAFS will be rocked by the cheating scandal after photographs showed Ellie and Jono looking very cosy during a recent outing.
In the pictures, the pair looked deeply in love as they packed on the PDA during a day out at Tamarama Beach in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
It is expected that Ellie and Jono will announce their relationship during the upcoming show reunion.
Their clandestine affair allegedly began with secret text messages exchanged during the filming of the show after Ellie ended things with partner Ben.
An insider told Daily Mail Australia how the drama will all unfold at a future commitment ceremony in scenes yet to air.
‘Lauren had no idea that Jono kept in contact with Ellie and found out during filming, and boy was she not happy,’ they said.
‘She was completely gobsmacked and felt humiliated by the end – but everyone else is happy for them.’
The source added: ‘Jono and Ellie maintained contact after she left the show, but the romance only escalated once Jono ended things with Lauren at the Final Vows. Their real-life meeting a few days later revealed an undeniable chemistry.’
It is believed that Jono and Ellie will blindside their co-stars by walking into the reunion as a couple, hand-in-hand.
Ben, Ellie’s on-show husband, was reportedly just as taken aback by the development, sources close to the show disclosed.
Tara McWilliams, who is credited with transforming the experiment into the ratings juggernaut it is today, told Daily Mail Australia that the show takes a non-judgmental stance on personal relationships.
