Bikini model Natalie Roser has spoken of her ‘unconventional first year of marriage’ to former Home and Away actor Harley Bonner.
After rumours swirled about their long-distance relationship, the 32-year-old confirmed on Monday she was no longer living with her husband at their Newcastle home.
She told The Daily Telegraph that Harley, 31, had moved to Thailand shortly after their wedding in February to study energy healing and meditation.
Natalie said letting Harley travel solo in their first year of marriage was preferable to him doing it later down the track when they have children.
She also isn’t planning to visit him because she doesn’t want to be a ‘distraction’.
‘We are living our own lives and it works,’ she added.
While Harley, who quit Home and Away in January over the show’s Covid-19 vaccine policy, follows his spiritual path, Natalie is back home on the tools.
She is busy renovating the couple’s new house in Newcastle: a four-bedroom 1980s fixer-upper she bought at auction on May 20.
Natalie and Harley, who used to live in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, tied the knot at Krinklewood Estate in the Hunter Valley on February 18 after dating for five years.
The Maxim cover girl had announced her engagement to the actor last November.
