Ethan Anderson (Emile John) is missing from Emmerdale village after being bailed by the police – and his
dad Charles (Kevin Mathurin) is frantic in a new spoiler video as he wonders whether his son has made his situation
worse by absconding.
Ethan was arrested after he admitted to Charles that he was driving the car at the time of a horrific accident which
left Nicky Miligan (Lewis Cope) fighting for his life. After the crash Ethan pulled Nicky from the car but then ran off
when he saw Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) driving up.

He knew Moira would get help for Nicky, and feared that if he stayed at the scene and was found to have been
driving while over the limit his career as a lawyer would be over.
Charles called the police following this confession, believing that the best thing for Ethan was to face the
consequences of his actions.

In the video we see Charles and Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) at the table, discussing Ethan. ‘What if he’s done a
runner?’ Charles wonders. Manpreet says Ethan ‘isn’t stupid’ and wouldn’t have done such a thing.

With Claudette Anderson (Flo Wilson) listening on from the hallway, it’s clear that the whole situation has taken its toll
on the family. Charles reveals that the boss at Ethan’s new workplace has called Charles to say Ethan is no longer
wanted by them after they had news of the arrest.
They called Charles because Ethan isn’t answering his phone and they had Charles listed as his emergency contact.

Charles is concerned that, if Ethan has done a runner, it’ll be worse for him in the long run.
He blames himself for calling the police and wonders whether he did the right thing. Worst of all is that Ethan is on
his own somewhere and Charles isn’t able to talk to him and explain.

As Charles mentions how he called the police, Claudette turns and quietly leaves the house. Does she know where
Ethan is?
‘We have to find him, before the police know he’s gone and he’s in even more trouble,’ he says.
Charles doesn’t know at this point that Ethan might be in a lot more trouble than he thinks.
With Caleb Miligan (William Ash), Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) all out for revenge
against Ethan for leaving Nicky for dead, the longer Ethan is missing the more danger he could be in.
