Coronation Street legend Sally Dynevor has received well wishes from her soap co-stars after jetting off and leaving the UK behind.

The actress has become a household name thanks to her role as Sally Metcalfe on the cobbles. The 60-year-old has been a mainstay on the long running soap since she joined in 1986.

In that time Sally has been Mayor of Weatherfield, been married three times, and has even had a spell in prison. Thankfully, her life away from the cameras is a lot calmer, and she is happily married to husband Tim Dynevor.

The couple have three children: Sam, Harriet and Phoebe. Bridgerton fans will know Phoebe from the hit Netflix show, and she is also a successful model.

This week, Sally is in Barcelona, where Phoebe is performing at a Louis Vuitton fashion event alongside other huge stars. Sharing a video of the catwalk on Instagram, the Corrie actress said: “What an incredible experience to be part of this wonderful evening for @louisvuitton at Park Guell Barcelona with @phoebedynevor”.

Many of Sally’s fellow cobbles cast members have replied in the comments section, as former Sophie Webster star Brooke Vincent said: “Obsessed. Hope you’re having the best time.” Sally Carman, who plays Abi Webster, said: “How exciting, Sal!”

Referring to the headwear worn by the models in the clip Joe Duttine, who plays Sally’s on-screen husband Tim Metcalfe, joked: “I could do with one of them hats”.
