Next week on Coronation Street, Hope Stape is facing serious trouble as she gets entangled in a major scandal. Hope is accused of tampering with Alina Pop’s legal proceedings in a human trafficking case. Alina recently returned to Weatherfield, having been discovered back in 2019 to have been brought into the UK illegally for work at a nail salon. Her boss had confiscated her passport to keep her from returning to Romania, and to everyone’s shock, she’s now in town with her baby son Doran, fathered by Tyrone Dobbs.
As the trial progresses, Tyrone agrees to accommodate Alina and her child at The Chariot Square hotel. However, tensions rise as Hope shows her displeasure towards the baby Doran while her sister Ruby is enamored with him. Hope is also dealing with her own personal chaos, including a breakup with her long-term boyfriend Sam Blakeman and developing feelings for her neighbor, Jack Webster. Adding to her troubles, Hope recently sought contraceptive advice, which has upset her parents.
Tyrone, suspecting that the threatening calls Alina has been receiving are from the traffickers trying to intimidate her, immediately accuses Hope. Despite her denial, the accusations continue. The situation escalates when Hope’s husband is infuriated over a fabricated bill, which was actually meant to pay Adam Barlow for legal advice regarding Doran’s custody. Tyrone’s desire to have Alina and her son stay in Weatherfield permanently further intensifies their argument. Hope fears that with Alina nearby, old conflicts might resurface.
The drama continues as a criminal breaks into Alina’s hotel room, causing her great distress. As Alina starts feeling paranoid, fans are left wondering about her fate. Meanwhile, there’s buzz surrounding Kit Green’s true intentions behind moving into the Rovers Return. Kit, played by Jacob Roberts, has raised eyebrows since his arrival as Bernie Winter’s long-lost child, who was adopted out almost 30 years ago. Kit’s suspicious behavior and sudden move into the pub have led fans to speculate about a possible heist or other dark motives, especially since Kit has a history of intrigue.
On a lighter note, fans were thrilled to see Alex Warner back in the latest episode. Played by actor Liam Bairstow, Alex is Kathy Matthews’ nephew and has made a charming return to Roy’s Rolls. Viewers are excited to see more of him and hope he gets a significant storyline soon.
Lastly, Stephanie Davis, a former Coronation Street star, is expecting a baby boy with her partner Joe Mcllroy. Davis, who previously portrayed Sinead O’Connor, shared her joy and emotional moments surrounding the pregnancy, especially after a previous miscarriage.
