Under the guise of kindness, Tom arranged for Belle to return to their old home, but this was part of his scheme to keep control. He even secretly had a locksmith cut a key for their house.

The episode’s flashbacks revealed Tom’s increasingly depraved actions, including locking Belle in the cottage and attacking their dog, Piper. Despite her courageous attempt to escape, Tom pursued her until she managed to board a bus and return to her family.

Back in the village, Tom lied to Belle’s family, claiming she hadn’t been taking her medication and blaming him for her mental health issues. Vinnie Dingle, who had been cautious around Tom, tried to confront him about his behavior. Meanwhile, Tom spread rumors about Belle’s abortion, exacerbating the situation and further isolating her.

As Tom continues to manipulate and control, fans are left wondering if Belle will be able to resist his toxic influence or if Tom will find a way back into her life.
