Coronation Street, and Hollyoaks that you won’t want to miss.
In Emmerdale, the dramatic storyline involving Samson Dingle is reaching its climax. Samson’s recent troubles began with his friendship with local thug Josh, which led to a robbery where Samson was accidentally stabbed by Maddie. Although Samson initially lied about the incident, claiming Maddie stabbed him deliberately, he later retracted his statement but omitted Josh’s involvement. Now, Samson faces serious charges and will soon have his day in court. In the upcoming episodes, Samson will confront Josh, leading to an altercation between the former friends. As Samson prepares for his plea hearing, he plans to plead guilty. Lydia arrives at the Woolpack with the latest court updates, and viewers will find out the consequences Samson will face.
Meanwhile, there’s big news from Coronation Street, where a new storyline is set to shake things up. Former Coronation Street star Oliver Farnworth is joining Emmerdale as John Subon, a new character from the esteemed Subon family. John’s debut will coincide with Eric Pollard’s car breaking down en route to a funeral. Victoria offers to drive Eric, and once they arrive, she meets John, who reveals he might be her half-brother. With John being seen in a dramatic scene carrying someone out of a burning barn alongside Cain, expect plenty of high drama ahead.
In Coronation Street, Bethany Platt is about to face a major plot twist. Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany, has hinted at a dramatic and emotional storyline involving Bethany’s insecurities. Bethany is set to undergo cosmetic surgery abroad, but the procedure is expected to go terribly wrong. This development will delve deep into Bethany’s struggles with her self-image.
Over in EastEnders, Nish Panesar discovers that Suki and Vinnie have been scheming against him. Seeking revenge, Nish enlists the help of his granddaughter Aani to locate Aisha, an old acquaintance. Lila Roas will make her first appearance as Aisha next week, revealing her connection to Nish and Suki. This arrival will stir up trouble for the couple and lead Eve to propose to Suki in response to the growing tension.
Hollyoaks is also buzzing with major exits as the show prepares for a big time jump in September. Norma Crow, Warren’s mother, meets a grim fate as she is killed by the mysterious gangster Blue, who doesn’t reveal his identity. Her family, believing she’s gone to Italy, remains unaware of her death. Glennis Barber, who played Norma, bid farewell to the show with a heartfelt Instagram post. Additionally, Bo Ramsey confesses to murdering Dean Hawor but avoids mentioning Kitty. His decision to cut off family visits marks his final appearance on the show.
Exciting crossover news is also on the horizon, as Jack P. Shepherd’s son, Ruben Shepherd, is set to join the cast of Hollyoaks. Ruben will take on the role of Curtis Royal, Grace Black’s son, as Grace’s quest to reclaim her son unfolds. This storyline will kick off with Curtis’s introduction in late September.
Lastly, in Neighbours, Ryan Maloney’s departure from his role as Toadie has been confirmed. Surprisingly, it wasn’t Maloney’s decision to leave but rather the show’s choice. Maloney expressed gratitude for the decision, noting his reluctance to leave on his own terms but understanding the need for change.
