Home and Away star Tammin Sursok revealed she was recently hospitalised after suffering a concussion.
The actress, who played the role of Dani Sutherland on the Australian soap between 2000 and 2004, recently posted a photo to Instagram which showedher lying in a hospital bed in a neck brace.
‘Concussions can happen doing the stupidest things. And when it happens you might have to show or tell the doctor what you were doing,’ she began.
The South African-born star also posted a funny video revealing the incident occurred when she accidentally fell out of bed while filming a cheeky clip.
‘It could be the most embarrassing moment of your life.’
The soap star, 40, concluded her post saying: ‘Thanks for all the well wishes.. feeling slightly better. Just a bruised brain and ego. And the scan showed I did have a brain. So that’s good.’
Fans were quick to wish the actress a speedy recovery with @kiri_osities replying: ‘I’m so sorry that happened. It’ll be a funny story later that doubles as a cautionary tale. Glad you’re feeling better.’
@prlprlprl123123 added: ‘The video followed by this photo should be mandatory viewing in parenting classes.’
Tammin, while arguably best known for her work on Home and Away, has appeared in numerous other soaps, including US daytime drama The Young and the Restless between 2007 and 2009.
The 40-year-old starred as fashion designer Montana Marcel in Neighbours last year, just months before its final episode on Channel 5, which was – at the time – thought to be its last ever outing. The popular soap, however, was later revived by Amazon and returned to screens last year.
