Amy Roloff has expressed her disappointment in her ex-husband Matt Roloff’s
decision to rent out their former family home, which she had hoped would be kept
within the family. Amy, who sold her share of the farm to Matt for $975,000 in 2020
after their divorce, never imagined the house where she raised her children for 30 years would become a short-term rental. Despite her personal feelings, Amy acknowledges that Matt owns the property and understands his decision from a business perspective. Matt initially listed the home for sale in early 2022, then removed it from the market to rent it out to fans and vacationers. He later relisted it in December 2023. The rental, which includes amenities like a hot tub and an old western town, requires a minimum three-night stay at $2,600 and has received consistently high reviews. Amy’s disappointment is shared in an exclusive teaser clip from the upcoming season of “Little People, Big World,” where she discusses the situation with her husband, Chris Marek. Despite the emotional aspect, she respects Matt’s choices and the success of the rental property.
