However, as Leanne becomes more focused on other group members, Rowan, the charismatic leader, zeroes in on Amy—a young woman with a tumultuous past.

Toya, concerned for Amy, tries to warn her about the risks of getting involved with The Institute. Unfortunately, Amy brushes off her warnings, asserting her right to explore her interests as an adult. Despite finding the AI replica of Leanne’s deceased son, Oliver, quite unsettling, Amy remains intrigued by The Institute.

As Amy prepares for a retreat organized by Rowan, he takes the opportunity to tell her she is destined for greatness. Leanne, overhearing this exchange, becomes envious of Amy’s newfound connection with Rowan. Rowan, meanwhile, reveals his darker side when he confronts Nick and demands £20,000 to avoid reporting him for assault. It seems Rowan’s scheme is far from over, and it won’t be long before we see his downfall. But as Amy integrates further into the group, how will this impact Leanne in the coming weeks?

Meanwhile, Abby Webster is under investigation for arson after an unknown assailant targets Stefan Brent’s office. Abby recently discovered that Stefan was behind the release of explicit deep fake videos featuring her likeness, an act of retaliation for her outspoken stance against his efforts to clear his jailed son Corey’s name. Corey was responsible for the death of Abby’s son, Seb.

Stefan tries to reconcile with Abby and her husband, Kevin, proposing a meeting to settle their differences. Kevin agrees but remains skeptical of Stefan’s true intentions. When Stefan contacts the Webster household and interacts with Jack while Kevin is away, Abby discovers Kevin engrossed in news about the fire at Stefan’s office. While Abby believes Stefan got what he deserved, Kevin begins to worry about Abby’s potential involvement.

Later in the week, Detective Swain questions Abby and Kevin about the fire, presenting doorbell footage as evidence of Abby’s resentment towards Stefan. The investigation heats up as Swain aims to find the real arsonist, and by the end of the week, viewers will discover the truth.

In other news, fans can look forward to Alina Pop’s return to Weatherfield. After a brief romance with Tyrone Dobbs ended in 2021, Alina left under mysterious circumstances, hinting at a possible pregnancy. Three years later, she comes back to testify against the human trafficking organization that brought her to the UK. Her return, however, complicates things as she encounters Tyrone’s wife, Fizz. Alina’s unexpected homecoming brings a wave of drama, especially as questions arise about whether she had a child with Tyrone during her absence.

Alina, who had a miscarriage in a fire caused by Tyrone’s stepdaughter Hope, now faces the awkwardness of her return. Despite the unresolved feelings and complexities of her past relationship with Tyrone, Alina is ready to move on, albeit with some lingering pain.

Lastly, Nick Tilsley continues to be blackmailed by Rowan, who demands more money to keep quiet about his affair with Toya. Amy, now deeply involved with The Institute, is about to embark on a retreat, further fueling Leanne’s jealousy. Rowan’s demand for £20,000 to avoid exposure and Nick’s attempts to help Toya through her cancer diagnosis create a tangled web of drama and intrigue.
